Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic individual with strong clinical, collaborative, and consultation skills to join our oncology team. This outpatient role will provide clinical social work services to patients with brain tumors as part of the Neuro-Oncology Team at Massachusetts General Hospital and MGB Cancer Institute.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's of Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program required.
Relevant clinical experience preferred.
Clinical Social Worker I:
Requires current Massachusetts Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
Clinical experience in medical setting 0-1 year required
Clinical Social Worker II:
Requires current Massachusetts Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)
Clinical Experience in a medical setting 2-3 years required

Demonstrates proficient clinical judgment and application of professional values and ethics. Integration of prior clinical experience into current practice.
Demonstrates proficiency to formulate assessment of risks, crisis intervention, psychosocial assessments, treatment plans, and the documentation of both in a timely manner.

Demonstrates proficient working knowledge of internal and external resources and refers appropriately.
Provides a range of evidence-based interventions.
