The Massachusetts General Hospital Department of Emergency Medicine's division of clinical research is seeking a highly motivated individual with a minimum of one year hands-on clinical research experience to assist with ongoing and future clinical research studies as Clinical Research Coordinator II.
Through participation in a variety of federally funded and industry sponsored clinical research studies and trials, our division aims to find new and effective treatments for injuries and illnesses such as trauma, infections, sepsis, stroke, behavioral health intervention, suicide prevention, device studies and others. The incumbent will work with a dynamic team of investigators and research staff to coordinate multiple studies performed in the emergency department at MGH.
Experience with developing REDCap projects, Epic EMR, IRB submissions (MGB Insight platform is preferred), and in person participant recruitment will be required and will be discussed during the interview.
A medical degree will be valuable (e.g., international medical graduate).
Some overnight shifts may be required based on study protocols, and weekend coverage will be needed about once a month.
This position is well-suited for those interested in graduate studies or a career in medicine, public health, or clinical research, offering significant patient interaction as part of a clinical research team.
