Job Overview
The Senior Revenue Accountant is responsible for accurate revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606 / IFRS 15 for complex SaaS arrangements. The role supports monthly and quarterly close activities, revenue-related reconciliations, and audit requirements, while partnering closely with Sales, Deal Desk, Legal, and Finance teams. This position also contributes to process and system improvements and acts as a senior team member supporting best practices within revenue accounting.Job Description and Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Recognition & ASC 606/ IFRS 15 Application
Perform detailed reviews of customer contracts and order forms to determine appropriate revenue recognition treatment under ASC 606/ IFRS 15, including identification of performance obligations, allocation, and timing of revenue.
Apply ASC 606/ IFRS 15 guidance to complex SaaS arrangements, including subscription, usage‑based, and multi‑element contracts.
Monthly Close & Reporting
Execute monthly and quarterly revenue close activities, including revenue and deferred revenue reconciliations, journal entries and supporting schedules, flux and variance analysis.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of revenue‑related accounts, including deferred revenue, contract assets, and AR‑related balances.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Partner with Sales, Deal Desk, Legal, Billing, and Finance Operations to resolve revenue and billing issues as well as to clarify contract terms with accounting impact.
Systems & Process Improvement
Participate in system enhancements, process improvements, and testing activities (including UAT) related to revenue accounting.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, controls, and scalability across revenue processes.
Audit & Compliance Support
Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and responding to audit inquiries related to revenue.
Ensure adherence to internal controls and compliance with company accounting policies and U.S. GAAP.
Team Contribution & Mentorship
Act as a senior team member by reviewing work, sharing best practices, and informally mentoring less‑experienced revenue accountants.
Contribute to continuous improvement of revenue accounting standards and documentation.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or related field
Clear and confident communication skills in English – min. B2 level
2+ years of progressive accounting experience in multinational or shared services environment
Experience in Revenue Systems as an advantage (Workday Financials, NetSuite ARM, Zuora Revenue), data understanding
Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Strong technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP, with deep focus on software and SaaS revenue recognition, including usage-based commit contracts
Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and take ownership of complex topics
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with high attention to detail
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

This position is eligible for total compensation which includes a competitive base salary, an annual performance bonus, and long-term incentives.
The expected salary range for this role is between following values:
98 000 and 146 000PLNThe final offered salary will be based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate's depth of experience, skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity. Hiring at the top end of the range would not be typical, to allow for future meaningful salary growth in this position.
