Job Description
The Sr. Manager – Commercial Strategy is responsible for driving strategic planning, portfolio management, and annual planning processes in alignment with BU priorities. The primary focus of this role will be to partner with the VP of Business Unit Sales & Strategy (BUSS), and the BU platform leads on the go-to-market development and execution of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), but will also focus on key BU strategic Initiatives and retail market & competitive insights.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Implement and oversee the annual business planning process, ensuring consistency, rigor, and cross-functional collaboration across all platforms and categories within the BU.
Identify, prioritize, and drive critical business unit initiatives that drive profitable topline growth and market share that align to both the business unit and North American Zone’s 3-year strategic plan.
Translate external trends, macro forces, and competitive dynamics into actionable strategies to future-proof the business.
Expected Experience & Required Skills
7+ years of experience in corporate strategy, strategic planning, management consulting, or a related field within the CPG industry.
Bachelor's degree in business, management, economics, finance, or a related field. MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
Proven track record in leading enterprise-level strategic planning and portfolio management.
Strong business acumen with experience in consumer goods or related industries preferred.
Experience driving commercial strategy in conjunction with cross-functional partners with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced matrixed environment.
Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans.
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills.
Strong communication skills as this role will be very cross-functional in nature & require someone able to work on multiple priorities at once.
Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.
Strong collaborator and relationship builder across functions and geographies.
Skilled at balancing long-term strategic goals with near-term operational priorities.
Strong experience leading and influencing up, down & across the organization

New Hire Base Salary Range:
$120,800.00 - $151,000.00Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors
