- You will be responsible for planning and coordinating NPI builds with regional teams, design teams, and plant scheduling teams to ensure timely execution and alignment with project timelines and business objectives.
- You will be responsible for ensuring availability of all required components as per specification requests to support smooth and uninterrupted NPI build execution.
- You will be responsible for executing NPI builds within defined timelines while ensuring adherence to quality, process, and safety standards.
- You will be responsible for analyzing build outcomes and preparing detailed build reports, including observations, performance analysis, deviations, and improvement recommendations for stakeholders and management review.
- You will be responsible for coordinating with design and AE teams for tire selection required for in-house and external testing activities, ensuring proper alignment with testing objectives and customer requirements.
- You will be responsible for ensuring timely disposal and management of components post-build activities in compliance with operational and quality requirements.
- You will be responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives by identifying gaps from previous builds and implementing corrective and preventive actions before successive NPI builds.
- You will be responsible for leading yield improvement discussions, preparing technical data, analysis, and presentations, and collaborating with subject matter experts to improve process capability and product quality.
- You will be responsible for driving individual projects focused on achieving 100% yield through effective coordination, process optimization, and implementation of necessary support systems.
- You will be responsible for driving component standardization initiatives to reduce complexity, improve manufacturing efficiency, and enhance overall process consistency.
- You will be responsible for handling and ensuring successful completion of audits conducted by internal Goodyear teams as well as external auditors related to NPI processes, systems, and compliance requirements.
- You will be responsible for understanding quality preparation processes and evaluating their impact on tire performance to support product quality and process improvement initiatives.
- You will be responsible for supporting tire testing and field engineering activities while understanding the relationship between tire construction and tire performance in both testing and field conditions.
- You will be responsible for correlating tire performance results from testing and field data with tire construction parameters and providing technical insights for product and process improvements whenever required.
- You will be responsible for ensuring adherence to Quality Management System (QMS) requirements and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in line with organizational quality standards.
- You will be responsible for coaching and mentoring trainees, NPI officers, and NPI monitors by guiding them in problem recognition, root cause identification, data collection, and analytical decision-making processes.
- You will be responsible for implementing new NPI tools and conducting training sessions to ensure effective adoption, process understanding, and capability enhancement within the team.
- You will be responsible for collaborating across teams and functions to solve operational and technical challenges, drive decision-making, and ensure successful execution of NPI objectives and projects.
