About the Role:
Dandy is hiring a Production Flow Technician to join our rapidly growing venture-
backed company. In this role, you’ll support the Production team to enhance visibility
into at-risk cases, develop tools to streamline production flow, and drive efficiency across the
site. You’ll also work closely with the Shift Supervisors and Team Leads to collect and analyze data, identify bottlenecks, and implement cross-functional improvement efforts. This is a unique opportunity to make site-wide productivity improvements and develop novel tools that help the company achieve its goals.
What You'll Do
Operate Quickly: Support your team in prioritizing orders by department each day, notifying teams of latest changes to orders (e.g., material change), and ensuring that any production bottlenecks are resolved in order to meet customer deadlines
Scale: Continuously seek opportunities to improve workflows and processes for optimal efficiency and scalability
Data-Driven Optimization: Track key performance indicators and conduct root cause analysis to optimize resources and drive on-time delivery of high quality products
Problem Solve: Roll up your sleeves to quickly troubleshoot and solve people, process, and technology issues as you operate within a large scale and fast paced dental lab
Quality Adherence: Monitor and enforce adherence to strict standard operating procedures (e.g., how to identify high priority orders) and roll up your sleeves to lead by example. High quality is key to efficient scalability!
Collaborate: Work with other teams to proactively identify and address high priority improvement opportunities
What We're Looking For
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
Strong knowledge in production workflows for crowns, bridges, implants, dentures, and night guards
Passion for breaking down complex problems into smaller manageable steps in order to help team members effectively work through the ambiguity
High level of comfort with digital tools and technology
Very high attention to detail and organizational skills
Team player attitude and willingness to help others to help the team exceed expectations
Natural curiosity and ability to learn new concepts, tools, and workflows quickly
Strong self-motivation, self-direction, and ability to work with multiple stakeholders to push improvement initiatives to completion
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to lift 50+ pounds, work within a confined space, climb ladders, and perform other physical tasks for multiple hours/day.
