At PayPal, Backend Software Engineers help build and maintain the systems that power millions of secure transactions every day. As a Backend Software Engineer (Java), you’ll collaborate with experienced engineers to design, develop, and optimize backend components that ensure performance, reliability, and scalability across our global payment platform. You’ll write clean, efficient Java code, follow established development practices, and participate in code reviews to continuously learn and improve. Strong foundation in programming concepts, algorithms, and data structures.
