Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable full stack JavaScript applications and services
Build performant, accessible, and responsive front-end experiences using modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Node.js)
Architect and implement RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend services in Node.js
Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and engineers to define requirements and deliver features end-to-end
Lead technical discussions, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior engineers
Drive engineering best practices including CI/CD, automated testing, and observability
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, scalability issues, and security vulnerabilities
Contribute to technical roadmap planning and architectural decisions
Champion engineering excellence across the team through documentation, standards, and processes
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience)
5+ years of professional software engineering experience
Strong proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript across the full stack
Hands-on experience with React.js or similar front-end frameworks
Solid experience with Node.js for backend/server-side development
Proficiency with RESTful API design and development
Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
Strong understanding of web performance, accessibility (WCAG), and security best practices
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and Agile methodologies
Demonstrated ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
Preferred Qualifications
Experience building or integrating payment systems, fintech platforms, or high-volume transactional services
Familiarity with GraphQL
Experience with microfrontend architecture
Knowledge of web security standards (OAuth, OpenID Connect, PCI-DSS considerations)
Experience with A/B testing and experimentation frameworks
Prior experience mentoring engineers and leading technical initiatives
