Job Summary:
We are excited to add a Staff Accountant to our growing team. This role serves as a key contributor within the Corporate Accounting team, working to support financial reporting, reconciliations, and general accounting functions. The position is ideal for a hands-on professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
You’llbe responsible forbalance sheet reconciliations, income statement analysis, and journal entry preparation. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and comfortable managing multiple priorities. Strong interpersonal and partnering skills are essential, as weoperatein a relationship-driven business.
Experience in accounting or financial analysis isrequired; prior exposure to the insurance brokerage or financial services industry is highly preferred.
Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly and quarterly balance sheet reconciliations.
Research and resolve variances during the reconciliation process.
Conduct monthly revenue and expense variance analysis.
Prepare month-end journal entries and financial reports.
Support the monthly and quarterly close of agency management systems.
Assistin onboarding new Partners to Corporate Accounting processes.
Review aged accounts receivable (>180 days) and producer commission payables quarterly.
Audit cash and bank account activity to ensureaccuratepostings.
Fulfill audit requests and support annual audit preparation.
Contribute to year-end processes including budgeting,1099s, unclaimed property, and state apportionment.
Reconcile intercompany balances between Acrisure Partners.
Provide prompt, courteous, and high-quality service to internal and external stakeholders.

Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldrequired.
1–2 years of experience in accounting, auditing, or financial analysis.
Experience with balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis.
Priorworkwith both income statement and balance sheetrequired.
Insurance industry experience (preferred).
Experience with general ledger systems (Workday preferred).
Familiarity with insurance management systems such as AMS360, Applied Epic, or TAM (highly desired).
Preferred Qualifications
CPA track or certification (a plus, notrequired).
Experience in a multi-entity or intercompany environment.

Pay Details:
The base compensation range for this position is $80,000 - $108,000. This range reflects Acrisure's good faith estimate at the time of this posting. Placement within the range will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity.Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.
