Key Responsibilities
Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Purchasing Department, maintaining the highest standards of procurement and inventory control.
Source, negotiate, and procure goods and services in line with hotel standards, quality requirements, and budgetary guidelines.
Work closely with department heads to forecast needs, plan purchases, and ensure timely availability of all materials.
Manage supplier relationships, negotiating contracts and pricing to achieve best value while maintaining quality and reliability.
Monitor stock levels, consumption patterns, and inventory turnover to minimize waste and optimize costs.
Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with hotel objectives, sustainability initiatives, and brand standards.
Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical sourcing practices, and all relevant legal and audit requirements.
Prepare and manage the purchasing budget, reporting on costs, savings, and supplier performance.
Continuously review market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
