We are currently seeking a Junior Sous Chef (AKA Lead Creative) to join our vibrant team. In this supportive kitchen role, you’ll bring creativity, precision and a passion for great food while assisting the senior culinary team in delivering memorable dining experiences and maintaining the high standards that define our hospitality.
- Supports the smooth running of the kitchen department by assisting the senior culinary team, helping to ensure a consistent and high-quality guest dining experience across the hotel.
- Works as part of a collaborative kitchen team, contributing to guest satisfaction by assisting with timely, professional responses to enquiries and service-related matters.
- Takes responsibility for assigned duties and tasks, ensuring they are completed accurately, efficiently and in line with kitchen standards.
- Supports the delivery of departmental plans and objectives by assisting in achieving hotel initiatives and operational targets.
- Works closely with senior chefs to assist with cost control, stock rotation, inventory management and maintaining kitchen efficiency.
- Builds and maintains positive working relationships within the kitchen and wider hotel team, supporting a culture of teamwork, respect and company values.
- Ensures compliance with all relevant food safety standards, legislation and hotel policies, assisting with due diligence, documentation and required follow-ups.
