We're looking for a strategic and results-driven Retail Key Account Manager to join our team in Mexico City, Mexico. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with our most important retail partners while driving sales performance and market expansion across the region. You will serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, developing customized solutions that align with their business objectives and our organizational goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive account strategies for assigned key retail accounts to maximize revenue growth and market penetration
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with senior-level retail partners through regular communication, strategic planning, and exceptional service delivery
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify opportunities for account expansion and new business development
- Negotiate contracts, pricing agreements, and promotional programs that balance profitability with customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with internal teams including sales, marketing, operations, and logistics to ensure seamless account management and order fulfillment
- Monitor account performance metrics, sales data, and KPIs to track progress against targets and identify areas for improvement
- Prepare and present regular account reviews, forecasts, and performance reports to senior management
- Conduct market research specific to the Mexican retail landscape to inform strategic recommendations and account planning
- Lead account onboarding initiatives and coordinate training for retail partner teams on products, services, and systems
- Resolve account issues and escalations in a professional and timely manner to maintain customer satisfaction
