The Analyst 1 (Warehouse) drives execution and improvement of warehouse operations through data-driven insights, digital tools, and process optimization. This role contributes from day one by enabling real-time operational visibility, strengthening data integrity, and supporting decision-making.
The Analyst plays an active role in transforming warehouse operations from manual processes to automated, intelligent, and connected workflows—improving efficiency, reducing cycle time, and enhancing inventory control.
Core Focus for Fresh Grads:
- Enable real-time operational visibility across warehouse activities
- Own and improve data integrity and system reliability
- Contribute to process efficiency and cycle time reduction
- Design and implement digital solutions to eliminate manual work
- Support transformation towards automated, data-driven warehouse operations (IR4.0/IR5.0)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Extract, structure, and validate WMS/ERP data to ensure high data integrity and usability for operations.
- Develop and maintain real-time dashboards and visual management tools for operational monitoring (e.g., GR TAT, WO cycle time, WARS, productivity).
- Monitor operational flows (inbound, kitting, outbound, replenishment) and proactively highlight risks or bottlenecks impacting performance.
- Identify data anomalies, system gaps, or transaction failures and drive timely resolution with relevant stakeholders.
- Support inventory accuracy through data-driven variance analysis and root cause identification.
- Ensure visibility and control of exceptions (MRB/damaged/expired) through structured tracking and resolution mechanisms.
- Drive automation of repetitive tasks using digital tools, scripting, or system enhancements.
- Design and enhance digital workflows to replace manual tracking and improve process reliability.
- Develop data models or visualizations that enable faster and better operational decisions.
- Contribute to digitalization initiatives (e.g., WMS enhancements, automation pilots, system integration, IoT-enabled tracking).
- Apply structured problem-solving using data to eliminate recurring operational issues.
- Maintain SOPs and digital workflows to ensure consistency, scalability, and audit readiness.
- Collaborate with Ops, Planning, QA, IT, and Procurement to drive cross-functional solutions.
- Take ownership of assigned operational processes and continuously improve performance.
- Uphold EHS/ESD/5S standards in all activities.
Key Performance Indicators:
- GR TAT Accuracy ≥ 99%
- WO Cycle Time ≤ 2.8 hours
- Data Integrity Level: High accuracy and consistency across systems
- Operational Visibility: Availability and reliability of real-time dashboards/tools
- Process Efficiency Gains: Measurable reduction in cycle time or manual effort
- Digital Contribution: Implementation of automation, digital workflows, or system improvements
- Issue Resolution Effectiveness: Timely identification and closure of operational/system gaps
