Reporting to the Assembly Lead , the assembly artist is responsible for ensuring technical compliance of scenes with the pipeline and resolving related issues. He plays a central role in ensuring that Mikros Animation continues to create first-class animation films.
Reponsabilities
- Check the continuity of shots and sequences for the camera, location, assets and props throughout the pipeline
- Monitor new assets produced by the modeling department, update and replace as required
- Work with TDs to quickly resolve any specific technical issues
- Prepare Maya scenes for animation, lighting and rendering
- Identify potential animation and FX collisions in order to report them to the appropriate department
- Prepares Red Carpet
- Ingest caches from Previz, match production assets (characters, environments, and cameras) to previz
- Attend shot reviews
