Commerce Operations, Product: The Payment Operations & Fraud team at NBCUniversal plays a critical role in ensuring seamless payment experiences while safeguarding the business against fraudulent activity within a consumer-driven economy. This team partners with key vendors and leverages data-driven strategies to optimize payment processing, reduce friction, and protect the customer experience at scale. The intern will gain hands-on exposure to both the payments and fraud ecosystems, analyzing global authentication rates to balance customer friction and fraud risk, evaluating payment trends to inform checkout optimization, assessing processing methods such as network tokens versus PAN to identify efficiency opportunities, and investigating “Do Not Honor” declines to uncover root causes and recommend mitigation strategies.
