The Director, Corporate Communications is responsible for leading the company’s Strategic Communications agenda, shaping a clear and consistent corporate voice across internal and external audiences. This role partners closely with executive leadership to deliver high-impact Executive Communications, strengthen corporate reputation, and ensure alignment across the enterprise. The role also serves as the right hand to the Group Vice President of Investor Relations & Communications, acting as a trusted strategic partner and extension of leadership.

- Develop and execute the Corporate Communications strategy, integrating internal, external, and executive messaging to support business priorities and long-term vision.
- Establish and deliver Executive Communications, including company-wide announcements, leadership messaging, and major business updates, with agency partners.
- Develop and manage the Internal Communications Strategy, driving engagement across associates, optometrists, and corporate teams through clear, timely, and compelling messaging.
- Lead Media Relations and Executive Thought Leadership, managing press engagement, media inquiries, and proactive storytelling to elevate brand and leadership visibility.
- Partner closely with Investor Relations to support Investor Relations Communications, ensuring consistency with public disclosures and corporate messaging.
- Direct Crisis Communications planning and response, serving as a trusted advisor during sensitive or high-profile situations.
- Oversee Corporate Social Media Strategy, the corporate website, and corporate digital channels, working closely with agency partners, ensuring alignment with brand, compliance, and governance standards.
- Provide Cross-Functional Leadership, collaborating with Marketing, Legal, Investor Relations, HR, and business leaders to ensure consistent and effective communications across the organization.
- Lead, mentor, and manage internal communications talent and agency partners to deliver high-quality, measurable outcomes.
