We are seeking an experienced and organized Assistant Sales Manager to join our dynamic sales team at our resort in Koh Yao Yai, Thailand. In this role, you will support the Commercial Team in driving revenue growth through groups and events business while delivering exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for managing client relationships, coordinating event logistics, and leading a team to achieve sales targets in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Assist in developing and executing sales strategies to attract and retain group and event business
- Manage the full lifecycle of group and event bookings, from initial inquiry through post-event follow-up
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and event planners
- Coordinate with internal departments (operations, housekeeping, food and beverage) to ensure seamless event execution
- Prepare and present customized proposals and quotations to prospective clients
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, forecasting, and pipeline management
- Support the training and development of the sales team to enhance their skill set and performance
- Manage group and event budgets, ensuring profitability and cost efficiency
- Conduct site inspections and venue walkthroughs with clients to showcase facilities
- Maintain accurate records in the customer relationship management (CRM) system and sales documentation
- Participate in industry events, networking activities, and promotional initiatives to generate leads
- Handle client inquiries and concerns professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention
