Oaks Mackay Rivermarque Hotel are looking for a passionate and motivated Commis Chef to join our kitchen team on a casual basis.
This role is essential in supporting the smooth operation of the kitchen, assisting with the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes, and helping deliver an exceptional dining experience for guests.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Assist with the preparation and presentation of dishes across all sections of the kitchen.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure efficient service and smooth operations.
- Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Take initiative to develop culinary skills and grow within a professional kitchen environment.
- Support less experienced team members when required.
Shift Details (subject to change):
- Breakfast and dinner service shifts
- Split shifts may be required on some days
- Shift times include:
- 6:00am – 10:00am (weekdays)
- 7:00am – 12:00pm (weekends)
- 4:00pm – 9:00pm (Monday to Saturday)
- Immediate start available
Hourly Rates (excluding superannuation):
Monday - Friday: $35.15 per hour
Saturday: $42.18 per hour
Sunday: $49.21 per hour
