Minor Hotels Australasia is looking for an experienced Principal AI Architect & Strategist to lead the organisation’s AI strategy, architecture, and enterprise-wide adoption initiatives.
This is a technical, hands-on role suited to an AI professional who can combine strategic thinking with practical delivery. You will play a key role in designing, building, and implementing scalable AI solutions across the business while establishing governance frameworks, architecture standards, and best practices.
Working closely with Executive Leadership, IT, Operations, P&C, and business stakeholders, you will identify high-impact opportunities to drive automation, efficiency, innovation, and measurable business outcomes through AI technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and lead the enterprise AI and Intelligent Automation strategy and roadmap across the organisation
- Design scalable, secure, and integrated AI architectures, including workflows, agents, copilots, and intelligent automation solutions
- Architect, build, test, and deploy AI-enabled capabilities across multiple business functions
- Develop reusable AI frameworks, patterns, and standards to support enterprise-wide adoption
- Ensure seamless integration across existing IT systems, APIs, cloud platforms, and legacy environments
- Establish governance frameworks, best practices, and guardrails for AI development and usage
- Partner closely with IT Security, Risk, and Compliance teams to ensure data security, privacy, and ethical AI standards are maintained
- Identify and prioritise high-value AI opportunities in collaboration with business leaders and operational stakeholders
- Deliver training, coaching, and enablement programs to build internal AI capability across technical and non-technical teams
- Track and report on business value, adoption, and outcomes from AI initiatives

- Regular travel between Brisbane and Sunshine Coast offices will be required
