As a Cloud FinOps Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing costs across our public cloud platforms. Your role will focus on building financial accountability within the organization by driving transparency, efficiency, and cost optimization in cloud usage focusing primarily on GCP & AWS.
You will design, implement, and maintain chargeback and show back models to ensure accurate allocation of cloud costs to business units. Your responsibilities will include producing cloud cost reports, managing budget alerts, and developing cloud cost forecasting models in partnership with the Finance team. You will work closely with cloud administrators to identify opportunities for rightsizing, cleaning up unused resources, and implementing cost-optimization strategies. At the same time, you will collaborate with applications and business owners to foster a culture of cost visibility and accountability across the organization. Drive automation of cloud cost reporting, anomaly detection, and governance controls.
Beyond cost monitoring, you will play a critical role in setting standards, policies, and best practices for efficient cloud usage as a part of the overall cloud governance program.
