Position Summary: The Paint Sprayer is responsible for safely and efficiently applying stains, sealers, toners, and topcoats to cabinet components. This role ensures finished products meet quality standards while supporting production goals, maintaining a safe work environment, and contributing to overall team success.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Spray cabinet parts, including doors, drawer fronts, and frames, with stain, toner, topcoat, and/or sealer to ensure even and complete coverage.
- Read and follow color tag identification and job specifications.
- Change spray booth filters and fire sprinkler bags as required.
- Set up, switch, and maintain spray guns and fluid lines for correct color application.
- Disassemble, clean, and service spray guns at the end of each shift or as needed.
- Complete daily spray booth audit checklists.
- Scrape and recoat spray booth walls as necessary.
- Ensure all material containers are properly grounded.
- Maintain spray gun cleaning kits and booth supply carts.
- Notify lead or supervisor of equipment issues, defects, or process concerns.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Experience:
- Ability to read and use fixed-gauge measurement instruments (metric and standard)
- Ability to complete, understand, and retain necessary schedules and records
- Ability to maintain production goals, including flexible hours as required
- Knowledge of accepted procedures for the safe and proper handling of hazardous chemicals and materials
- Knowledge of product and raw materials involved in cabinet manufacturing

Work Environment:
- Manufacturing environment, with frequent exposure to wood dusts, and cabinet-making related materials.
- Exposure to hot and cold elements due to non-climate controlled environment.
- Wearing of Personal Protection Equipment required: eye and ear protection.
