We are looking for a Full-Time Forklift Operator who is responsible for using forklift, clamp truck, or other power equipment to load, unload, move, stack, stage and count product and materials.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Operate forklift (counterbalance) to load and unload trailers using load cards
- Handle large and heavy freight safely and efficiently
- Stack pallets properly following load patterns to prevent damage
- Move freight within the crossdock area with speed and accuracy
- Dim (measure) and weigh pallets as required
- Inspect shipments for damage or discrepancies
- Perform daily equipment inspections
- Maintain cleanliness and complete housekeeping duties in the work area
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Other duties as assigned
