1. Take samples from designated sampling points according to the approved matrix and operational schedule. Ensure timely delivery of samples to the laboratory for quality testing.
2. Fill up chemicals based on production requirements, ensuring proper dosing according to instructions provided by senior operators. Safely handle chemicals, adhering to safety protocols and usage guidelines.
3. Conduct preventive maintenance on field equipment such as plate and frame heat exchangers, strainer, pipe, and pump. Report any abnormalities or equipment malfunctions to the senior operator or maintenance team for further action.
4. Replace filter bags at regular intervals or as required based on production needs and equipment performance. Ensure proper disposal of used filter bags in accordance with environmental and safety regulations.
5. Safely transfer wastewater from production areas to the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP). Monitor the transfer process to avoid spills or contamination and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
6. Make up cooling water levels in the cooling tower basin as required to maintain optimal cooling system performance. Monitor water levels and quality, ensuring the correct balance of chemicals for efficient operation.
7. Transfer condensate from the production system back to the boiler, following the appropriate procedures. Ensure proper operation of transfer equipment and coordinate with relevant departments if any issues arise.
8. Follow all plant safety procedures, especially when handling hazardous materials or working with high-temperature equipment. Adhere to environmental regulations during wastewater and chemical handling.
9. Work closely with the maintenance team during plant shut-downs and turn-arounds for major maintenance activities.
10. Work closely with the senior production operator and other departments, such as quality control, utilities, and maintenance, to ensure smooth plant operations.
