We are looking for a proactive and collaborative Project Engineer (Civil) to support an Integrated Waste Management Facility (IWMF) project in Tuas, Singapore. Reporting to the Project Director, the role will focus on engineering coordination, planning, and technical management across multiple engineering disciplines within a large-scale infrastructure project environment.
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and analytical skills, good planning ability, and experience in multidisciplinary engineering coordination involving civil and building services/M&E systems.
This is a regular full-time position directly employed under AECOM Singapore.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Project Director, Deputy Project Director, and the project management team in the coordination and delivery of engineering activities for the IWMF project.
- Coordinate across civil, structural, building services/ M&E, architectural, process, and environmental disciplines to facilitate integrated project delivery.
- Review engineering designs, technical specifications, drawings, and consultant submissions.
- Assist with engineering planning, interface management, and technical coordination activities.
- Monitor engineering progress and proactively identify technical risks, interface issues, and coordination challenges.
- Participate in technical meetings and coordination workshops with clients, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Support the preparation of engineering reports, presentations, technical correspondence, and project documentation.
- Coordinate technical queries, design changes, and interdisciplinary engineering matters.
- Collaborate closely with construction and site teams to support project execution and technical issue resolution.
- Ensure engineering activities are carried out in accordance with project quality, safety, and technical requirements.
