AECOM is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Environmental Technician I to join our team in Long Beach, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting environmental assessments, collecting and analyzing data, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
- Perform environmental sampling and monitoring activities in various field locations
- Collect, record, and analyze environmental data using specialized equipment and techniques
- Assist in the preparation of environmental reports and documentation
- Conduct site inspections and assessments to identify potential environmental hazards
- Maintain and calibrate environmental monitoring equipment
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to support environmental projects
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations
- Participate in environmental remediation activities as needed
- Assist in the development and implementation of environmental management plans
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all field activities and data collected
