AECOM is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Principal Structural Engineer to join our Dublin office. This leadership role will focus on the delivery of complex and high-profile projects across the residential, healthcare, education, and infrastructure sectors. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving technical excellence, mentoring teams, and contributing to the strategic growth of our structural engineering practice in Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the structural design and delivery of multidisciplinary projects from concept through to completion.
- Provide technical oversight and ensure compliance with relevant Eurocodes, Irish building regulations, and industry standards.
- Manage project teams, resources, and timelines to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and external partners.
- Oversee the preparation and review of structural calculations, drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Drive innovation and sustainable design practices across all project types.
- Mentor and develop junior and senior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Support business development activities, including bid preparation and client presentations.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to deliver integrated solutions.
