Lead Engineer, New Production Introduction

The Role

Our Yonezawa facility is seeking a Lead Engineer to support the manufacturing of Liquid Micro Contamination Control (LMC) filter products for the semiconductor industry. In this role, you will lead the commissioning and qualification of new processes and equipment forhigh‑volumeproduction. Once product qualification and operational readiness are achieved, you will drive the successfulscale‑upof products and processes from Development to Manufacturing,utilizingaStage‑Gateprocess and/or supporting product transfers between sites.

製品の認定および操業準備が完了した後は、ステージゲートプロセスを活用し、または拠点間の製品移管を支援することで、開発段階から製造段階への製品・プロセスの円滑なスケールアップを推進していただきます。

Product & Process Engineering - Technical Execution of Validation and Qualification 

• Lead Validation and Qualification (V&Q) activities for product qualifications associated with new expansions.

• Guide installation and commissioning ofproduction‑scaleequipment following IQ/OQ protocols.

• Develop and qualify processes on new equipment to meet KPOV targets.

• Design and run experiments, applying statistical tools to analyze data, support development, andoptimizeprocesses.

• Ensure operational readiness for new expansions.

• Develop and implement solutions to improve yield, increase capacity, and minimize variation.

• Maintain a regular presence on the manufacturing floor to provide sustaining support, resolve issues, and driveroot‑causeanalysis.

• Lead technical evaluations, perform analyses, and implement process solutions to complex problems in adata‑driven,risk‑basedculture.

• Conduct analyses and audits to recommend improvements in safety, quality, cost, waste reduction, and efficiency.

• Help direct and control processes according to defined policies and procedures.

• Oversee customer and internal sample management for product qualification builds.

• IQ／OQプロトコルに従い、生産規模設備の据付および立ち上げ（コミッショニング）を指導する。

• KPOV目標を達成するため、新規設備上でのプロセス開発および認定を行う。

• 実験を設計・実行し、統計的手法を用いてデータ分析を行い、開発支援およびプロセス最適化を推進する。

• 新規設備拡張に向けたオペレーション開始準備（オペレーショナル・レディネス）を確実にする。

• 歩留まり改善、能力向上、ばらつき最小化のための改善策を開発・実施する。

• 製造現場に定期的に入り、安定稼働の支援、問題解決、真因分析を推進する。

• データ主導・リスクベースの文化のもと、技術評価、分析を主導し、複雑な課題に対するプロセス改善策を実装する。

• 安全、品質、コスト、廃棄物削減、効率の観点から分析および監査を行い、改善提案を行う。

• 定義された方針・手順に基づき、プロセスの指揮・管理を支援する。

• 製品認定ビルドに向けた顧客向けおよび社内向けサンプル管理を統括する。

 Project/Technical Leader -Cross‑FunctionalLeadership, Collaboration & Project Management

• Collaborate withcross‑functionalteams—Operations, R&D, Quality, Equipment & Automation, Facilities, and EH&S—to execute product qualifications.

• Serve as a Project/Technical Leader: develop project plans, drivecross‑functionalalignment, and lead projects totimelycompletion.

• Influence and guide multidisciplinary teams.

• Take on broad assignments with limited direction on critical issues.

• Partner withcross‑functionalteams to deliver improvements that meet design, manufacturing, andStage‑Gaterequirements with strong focus on quality and safety.

• Manage multiple projects across the product portfolio.

• Manage projects within the Accolade system and support others in meeting assigned tasks.

• Interface with global customers and sister facilities to align requirements, resolve issues, and ensure launch readiness.

• Provide mentorship and guidance to Engineers and other team members.
