The House of Commons’ Digital Service and Real Property is currently looking to staff the Senior Digital Product Developer positions.
The Senior Digital Product Developer leads the design, development, and lifecycle management of complex, mission-critical digital products. The role drives technical decisions, oversees testing and deployment, and ensures solutions meet enterprise standards and strategic objectives.
Accountable for product performance, security, maintenance, and licensing, the Senior Developer advises management on complex initiatives, influences product direction, mentors team members, and ensures delivery of secure, high-quality solutions that achieve business outcomes.
We are looking for Senior Digital Product Developers with expertise in the following streams:
Microsoft 365 Stream:
Responsible for the design, delivery, modernization, and governance of Microsoft 365 collaboration and content platforms, with a primary focus on SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams (collaboration features), and related Microsoft 365 services. This role is accountable for ensuring these platforms are secure, compliant, scalable, supportable, and aligned with enterprise and government requirements.
Enterprise Email Stream:
Responsible for leading and supporting the delivery, optimization, and continuous improvement of the hybrid enterprise email ecosystem (Exchange 2019 and Exchange Online), ensuring the service remains secure, reliable, and high‑performing. It encompasses email gateways, mail flow and third party mass mailing services.
InTune Stream:
Candidates in the Intune stream will lead the design and delivery of mobile and device management solutions, ensuring secure, modern, and efficient operations across the enterprise. This includes overseeing device testing and readiness, maintaining Intune and mobile platforms, and adopting new features that strengthen the organization’s modern management capabilities. The role provides technical ownership of Intune, supports mobile security and compliance initiatives, and manages inhouse app publishing across Apple and Google ecosystems. Responsibilities also include administering Samsung Knox, Apple Business Manager and Lookout MTD platforms, handling advanced troubleshooting and vendor escalations, and facilitating cross team collaboration to support seamless service delivery. In addition, candidates will support the management and deployment of Teams Voice solutions, ensuring reliable telephony functionality and integration across the mobile and device ecosystem.
