We are building a Generative AI platform that enables teams across regions to deliver high-quality GenAI capabilities faster and more safely. As Engineering Manager, you will partner with the Director on roadmap and outcomes, and you will own operational executionâhiring, developing, and running a high-performing team in Brazil that delivers reliable platform capabilities (model serving, inference utilities, evaluation, memory management, and developer tooling).
Key responsibilities
- Build and lead a high-performing distributed team in Brazil; hire, onboard, coach, and develop engineers.
- Own operational excellence: planning cadences, OKRs, delivery forecasting, risk management, and continuous improvement.
- Drive execution of the GenAI platform roadmap in partnership with the Director; manage dependencies across regions.
- Ensure production-grade engineering: quality gates, CI/CD, observability, incident prevention, runbooks, and documentation.
- Partner with security/architecture to ensure compliant, reliable model hosting and inference patterns.
- Create a strong culture of ownership, measurable outcomes, and pragmatic innovation.
