Team Member - Engineering (Mechanical)

1.0 Responsibilities

1.1 To ensure that Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) are being adhered to, during the Maintenance of Process equipment & other related machinery.

1.2 To ensure that all the safe practices as per GEP guidelines are adhered to while working in the process area as well as service floor.

1.3 Having skill of trouble shooting Tab compression, capsule filling machine and Granulation’s equipment, Coater, blender, bottle packing line, Blister packing.

1.4 To ensure that the process equipment that the process equipment are maintained in the best possible way along with adherence to necessary documents to be complied.

1.5 Co-ordinate with internal customers for routine maintenance issues by providing feedback to the Engineering Head from time to time.

1.6 To ensure that preventive maintenance, Breakdown maintenance of the process machinery is carried out as per the schedule & SOP for P.M & B.D.

1.7 To perform root cause analysis (RCA) should be of the every major breakdown of the equipment and implementing the action plan.

1.8 Identifies areas to improve installation/ maintenance/ repair, etc. process to reduce breakdown time.

1.9 Execution of all the assigned action plan CAPA (Engineering, QA & Safety).

1.10 Ability to utilize Manager Model area Concepts 5S, Autonomous Maintenance, Why-why analysis, Kaizen, OPL

1.11 To be a part of the team for the Installation & commissioning of process equipment including the complete qualification.

1.12 To ensure that all the required spares are maintained for the process equipment to ensure continuous operation & reduce downtime.

1.13 To ensure that proper tools are used while carrying out routine & breakdown work.

1.14 Maintain a stock of require critical tools for the jobs.

1.15 To verify all concerned daily log books and ensure documentation is online.

1.16 Execution of current & future projects execution.

1.17 To ensure complete support to the production department in event of failures & challenging situations.

1.18 To ensure that new technologies in the process machinery are well understood for further carrying out proper P.M.
