Job Summary
• Industrialize Engineering Concept and coordinate Engineering Execution work packages from Implementation Release through Team Release phases.
• Design, develop, and organize testing/verification/validation of the product based on requirements.
• Execute tests, evaluate results against defined criteria, and deliver complete documentation and final reports using state-of-the-art test methods.
• The Execution Engineer leads project development and technical realization activities for new product development.
• The role ensures that product meets customer, regulatory, and technical requirements while complying with Bosch processes and the Product Innovation Framework (PIF).
Key Responsibilities
A. Product Design & Technical Development
• Develop, optimize, and maintain mechanical component designs (plastic/metal).
• Translate technical requirements into feasible design solutions.
• Create and update CAD drawings, 3D models, and engineering documents.
• Prepare and update Bill of Materials (BOM), including coordination of BOM changes with EIS.
• Conduct functional cost analysis for new and existing products.
• Implement engineering changes (EC) and ensure all drawings/documents remain current.
• Drive design improvements based on inputs from project stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to PT and Bosch procedures, BES-PE principles, and PIF/TTM processes.
B. Product Testing & Validation
• Act as the technical representative for all testing-related matters during product development.
• Define, plan, and execute performance and functional tests during the product development.
• Serve as the first contact point for Project Manager, and Product Quality Engineer for test issues.
• Support Product Quality Engineer in curating the Product Test Plan.
• Approve test reports relevant to the project.
• Ensure regulatory, market-specific, and product-specific test requirements are understood and applied.
• Develop, update, and maintain test methods, procedures, and test devices.
• Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and support functions for test activities.
C. Cross-Functional & Project Support
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams and quality warranty teams on technical changes/improvements and BOM updates.
• Support special tasks or technical assignments at department/section level.
• Participate in project workshops (e.g., FMEA, problem solving) as required.
