We develop ICs for diverse and exciting applications in the automotive sector.
The focus of your work is coordinating functional safety activities according to ISO 26262.
You are responsible for functional safety within the product development.
This includes analyzing extensive and complex customer requirements, evaluating novel safety concepts, deciding(together with relevant experts)on their use, verifying their implementation, and finally assessing their effectiveness using different safety analyses.
You analyze the robustness and failure probability of components in an innovative technology.
As a Functional Safety expert, you assess safety goals, design safety concepts at the hardware, software, or system level, and apply analysis methods such as FMEDA, FTA, or DFA.
You independently coordinate the appropriate and timely handling of Functional Safety tasks within the project team, which consists of a variety of technical roles and interfaces in semiconductor technology, such as security experts, product managers, analog and digital designers, verification engineers, and quality experts. You report progress regularly to upper management.
You coordinate and represent Functional Safety topics within a distributed international development environment and collaborate with customers.
