Analysis of customer validation and reliability requirements and negotiation of mutually agreed validation plan
Organizing, tracking, executing, and documenting lifetime or functional validation tests for eMachines and their sub-components
Estimating and tracking test costs
Serving as the primary contact for customers on all validation-related issues
Documentation Approval: The right to approve and release all internal and external technical documentation related to functional testing and validation
Resource Allocation: The authority to plan and allocate necessary test benches and to define/order the required test samples and special parts needed for validation
Customer Communication: The authority to act as the primary customer interface for all testing related topics, and to receive customer requests/concerns
Validation Planning: Organizing and overseeing the complete validation process, from defining test details and devices to investigating potential failure mechanisms
Resource Management: Organizing all necessary supply parts, fixtures, software, and measurement devices
Scheduling: Scheduling and booking test-benches from both internal and external suppliers
Execution & Monitoring: Carrying out the validation and tracking its progress at the test bench
Documentation: Creating and managing all necessary documentation related to the validation process
Process Improvement: Continuously working to improve the validation system and processes to reduce costs and save time.
