As the Head of Digital and IT for the China region, you will be reporting into BD BoMand you will formulate and execute strategy that meets the need of China business while aligning to Global frameworks. You will leverage the latest and appropriate technologies like AI with a strong focus on innovation, cost optimization and efficiency improvement. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of IT services and digital solutions in China, tailored to the local market characteristics, and will lead a team aligned to regional and global portfolio. This role requires active collaboration with business units and global teams to enhance business value.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Team Management:
β Formulate and implement Digital/IT roadmap that align with BD global strategy and China's business needs.
β Optimize resource allocation, improve overall team efficiency, and coordinate the management of IT service and digital business teams within China.
β Work with partner management team to drive a local partner strategy that leverages the ecosystem in China
Delivery:
β Accountable for delivery of the Digital/IT projects and solutions for China
Global Collaboration & Reporting:
β Work with different local and global stakeholders in a Matrix organization to ensure meeting the local business requirements.
β Be the βVoice of Chinaβ into the Global BD organization
IT & Digital Operations:
β Ensure the stable operation of core enterprise systems (e.g., SAP) and IT infrastructure.
β Optimize existing business models, develop and integrate internal and external digital resources to support customer businesssuccess.
β Lead the implementation of innovative solutions such as AI and business digitalization, enhancing organizational service capabilities and reducing reliance on external vendors.
Talent engagement/development & Leadership development:
