1. Responsible for validating steering systems (hardware, software, and mechatronic components).
2. Develop and implement comprehensive test method, test plans, and validation protocols for steering systems across development phases (Components, bench, HIL, durability, and on-road testing).
3. Coordinate with cross-functional teams: design/release engineers, software developers, vehicle tests, suppliers, and program management to define test requirements, resolve issues, and support root cause analysis (e.g., using FMEA, Problem solving, data logging).
4. Ensure traceability of requirements to test cases/coverage and oversee documentation for audits and homologation.
5. Oversee the day-to-day operations steering system test facilities, including bench test rigs, durability test stands, NVH acoustic chambers, environmental chambers, to ensure maximum uptime, reliability, and repeatability of test results.
6. Lead lab safety, housekeeping, and compliance programs: enforce lab safety protocols corporate EHS standards, and regulatory requirements for test operations.
7. Other relevant tasks assigned by superiors for achieving company’s objectives.
