💼 Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Lead Buyer for EA (Manager I - Purchasing) to drive purchasing excellence and optimize our supply chain within the East Asia region. The successful candidate will develop and implement material field strategies, manage supplier relationships, and lead sourcing activities to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality. As Regional Lead Buyer, you will support the following key tasks in collaboration with experienced team members.
🎯 What you will do (Key Responsibilities)
- Develop and implement material field strategies and consolidate global/area demand to optimize sourcing.
- Identify, assess, and select suppliers for projects, ensuring compliance with internal standards through on-site evaluations (RPA, CSR checks).
- Evaluate annual supplier performance, manage supply risks, and drive supplier development initiatives to improve overall supplier capabilities.
- Lead RFQs and annual price negotiations to achieve cost-effective sourcing and manage sourcing decisions, cost reduction activities, and price benchmarking.
- Plan and track purchasing targets and KPIs to ensure alignment with business objectives, and provide regional input for Current Forecast processes.
- Manage all supplier contracts, ensuring timely renewals and system updates to maintain accurate records and compliance.
