We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to coordinate and direct the activities of construction crews, subcontractors, and trade partners. This role focuses on field execution, site coordination, safety, scheduling and quality control - not internal employee management. The Construction Manager ensures construction activities are performed according to plans, specifications, schedules and safety requirements.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and direct the activities of construction crews, subcontractors, and trade partners on assigned projects to ensure alignment with project plans, schedules, and requirements
- Monitor and facilitate daily on-site construction activities to ensure work is performed safely, efficiently and in compliance with project documents.
- Coordinate construction sequencing, manpower, equipment and materials.
- Enforce site safety policies and ensure compliance with OSHA and project-specific safety requirements.
- Monitor project schedules and proactively address delays or field issues.
- Conduct site meetings, toolbox talks and coordination meetings with subcontractors and inspectors.
- Review drawings, specifications and RFIs to ensure proper field execution.
- Inspect work in progress to ensure quality standards are met.
- Track construction progress and provide regular updates to project leadership.
- Coordinate inspections, testing and punch list activities through project completion.
