Manage mainly suppliers in the region for flat steel, coil center, copper with purchasing volume >100Mio EUR, therefore 88mio EUR Copper and 25 mio EUR flat steel.
Drive commercial negotiation strategy and execution, contributing to deployed KPI per category and/or supplier level
Mastering purchasing strategy for responsible categories and work closely with GCB category buyer on global basis
Deep understanding of upstream supply chain raw material market ( Iron Ore, Steel Scrap, Coking Coal, Alloys etc.) as well cost structure
Deep understanding of non-ferrous metal market
Work closely with business unit engineering, project purchasing (PUE) and external suppliers for technical saving project (RPP:VA/VE)
Collaborates with regional business unit and handling delivery escalations
Supplier performance management based on performance matrix
Efficiency gain through bundling and standardization of supplier pool
Regional specific requirement according to local needs
