Logistics supervisor responsible for the planning and scheduling group, supporting the value streams of the Mexicali plant.
Manage the availability of components in the plant. In addition to operation, this includes selecting the appropriate inventory control concept by relationship; monitoring and prioritization in cases of bottlenecks (component restriction); implementing "logistics agreements"; and coordinating the implementation of EDI with suppliers.
Define and implement a production plan (leveling), according to available capacity and resources, in order to best meet customer requirements/demand (i.e., SL1) within the defined plant lead time.
Be a mentor and coach for associates, training and guiding them to meet goals and objectives.
Proactively provide department and involved party communications, ensuring daily/weekly/monthly transparency of activities/problems/restrictions.
