HW Developer for Electronic Control Units
Role Summary
Responsible for the end-to-end design and development of electronics hardware, including DC/DC converters, covering analog/digital circuitry, simulations, PCB design support, testing, and compliance with automotive standards. Flexibility to work on variety of topics arising from acquisition to series maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of analog, digital, and power electronics, including DC/DC converters and sensor/actuator interfaces.
Experience in embedded hardware design for automotive ECUs, including MCU interfacing and HW鈥揝W integration.
Ability to analyze requirements and propose hardware solutions using calculations, simulations, and worst鈥慶ase analysis.
Proficiency in electronic component selection and schematic development for automotive鈥慻rade products.
Working knowledge of PCB layout principles and effective collaboration with layout engineers on EMC and manufacturability.
Hands鈥憃n experience in hardware testing and validation, including test plan definition, board鈥憀evel measurements, and test reporting.
Exposure to automotive specifications and standards relevant to ECU development and validation.
Strong skills in structured problem solving, HW debugging, and failure/root鈥慶ause analysis.
Understanding product development and production processes, including interaction with sample shops and manufacturing plants.
Effective stakeholder management and communication skills, handling OEM queries and coordinating with internal teams (SW, Sales, Validation).
