The Plant Controller is a key role within the Controlling department, responsible for supporting the financial and operational performance monitoring of the production plant and contributing to data-driven decision-making.
Working in a dynamic and international environment, this role requires a strong analytical mindset, a proactive attitude, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams such as Production, Operations, Sales, and Technical departments.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting & Performance Monitoring
- Prepare and support the creation of periodic financial and operational reports.
- Ensure data accuracy, quality, and timeliness.
- Monitor plant performance through key KPIs, identifying areas for improvement.
- Support the presentation of results to management.
Budgeting, Forecast & Variance Analysis
- Contribute to the budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Monitor deviations between actual results and planned targets.
- Provide detailed variance analysis and support corrective action plans.
- Coordinate data collection from production departments, ensuring deadlines and data quality.
Business Planning
- Support the definition and monitoring of the Business Plan.
- Collaborate with department managers to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
- Contribute to the preparation of high-quality presentations for top management and headquarters.
Cost Control & Efficiency
- Monitor industrial costs and identify optimization opportunities.
- Analyze production efficiency (e.g., Weekly Efficiency reports).
- Support cost reduction initiatives and continuous improvement activities.
Project & Strategic Initiatives Support
- Participate in cross-functional projects, providing financial and analytical support.
- Monitor the progress of strategic initiatives.
International Collaboration
- Interface with plants and country units on a global scale.
- Support process standardization and data quality improvement.
- Work effectively in a multicultural and evolving environment.
