Job Summary
- Be responsible for developing, optimizing, and sustaining chemical and materials processing routes to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective manufacturing
- Focuses on process design, scale-up, quality improvement, and continuous optimization of materials such as chemicals, polymers, composites, metals, or advanced functional materials
- Process data sheet preparation and maintenance.
- Carrying out of releasing procedures for manufacturing processes.
Roles and Responsibilities
Process Development & Optimization
- Design, develop, and optimize chemical and materials process from lab to pilot and series production
- Conduct process modeling, mass and energy balance calculations, and equipment selection
- Support scale-up activities and technology transfer from R&D to manufacturing
Manufacturing Support
- Monitor and improve manufacturing processes to enhance output, quality and cost efficiency
- Troubleshoot process deviations, quality issues, and equipment-related problems
- Establish and maintain process parameters, technical specification definition, acceptance and ramp up support for new/ retrofit MAE
Materials Characterization & Quality
- Define material specifications and acceptance criteria
- Analyze process鈥搒tructure鈥損roperty relationships
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with R&D, manufacturing, quality, maintenance and supply chain teams
- Support industrialization team of material evaluation, process feasibility and cost-reduction initiatives
- Provide technical training and guidance to operators and technicians
- Knowledge exchange and improvement with leadplants.
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare technical reports, process data sheet (PDS), and process control documentation
- Maintain accurate records of process changes, experiments, and validation results
