• You are responsible for spot check and review activities to verify and document the implementation of requirements in business and organizational units in the areas of export control, sanctions law, and customs.
• You take over potential forensic compliance investigations and derive root cause and gap analyses from them. Beside others, also IT-based and data model-driven.
• With your efforts, you implement, operate, and continuously develop an effective Compliance Management System (sCMS) in the areas of export control, sanctions law, and customs.
• Furthermore, you set up a monitoring system to verify the completeness, effectiveness, and efficiency of global compliance processes - including master data and business processes in GTS.
• Finally, you support the definition and operation of global risk monitoring systems, the internal control system (ICS), and other IT tools to ensure compliance in the aforementioned areas.
Tasks
• In your role, you will coordinate the GTS Rollout and align requirements with the governance departments (especially foreign trade, export control, and sanctions list screening) as well as the central IT team and other process development teams.
• Your portfolio of tasks includes the further development and implementation of end-to-end (E2E) processes in the area of export control and sanctions law. This also includes the integration of relevant master data into business processes.
• Furthermore, you will coordinate the execution of tests, organize user training, and comprehensively prepare for migration and go-live.
• You will take responsibility for post-go-live support, resolve emerging errors, and optimize processes during the stabilization phase until handover to the line organization.
• In your area of activity, you will work closely with Process Owners and Managers and support the smooth integration of compliance processes into existing business processes.
• Last but not least, you will ensure the sustainable implementation and adherence to global export control and sanctions law requirements.
