As Director of Marketing for Malaysia, you will lead the country’s end-to-end marketing strategy to drive sustainable customer growth, brand leadership, and market share. You will be responsible for scaling Monthly Active Users (MAU), strengthening brand equity, and ensuring efficient marketing investment across all channels.
Key responsibilities:
1. Marketing Strategy & Customer Growth
- Own the country marketing strategy to drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.
- Scale Monthly Active Users (MAU) and lifetime value through a balanced approach across performance marketing, lifecycle marketing, and brand initiatives.
- Identify and unlock new growth opportunities and channels to accelerate customer adoption.
2. Brand & Market Leadership
- Lead the development and execution of local brand and campaign strategies to strengthen market presence and competitive positioning.
- Ensure consistent and impactful ATL/BTL and digital marketing initiatives aligned with business priorities.
- Drive initiatives that improve brand awareness, consideration, and customer sentiment.
3. Marketing Investment & Performance
- Own the country marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation across channels to maximize ROI.
- Drive a data-driven marketing culture, leveraging customer insights, attribution models, and performance analytics to optimize investment decisions.
- Continuously improve cost efficiency, CAC, and marketing productivity.
4. Cross-Functional Leadership
- Partner closely with Commercial, Operations, Finance, and Data teams to align marketing strategies with supply, inventory, and operational capacity.
- Act as the key interface with Regional Marketing and Growth teams, adapting global strategies to local market needs.
- Lead and develop a high-performing marketing team across brand, growth, and lifecycle functions.
5. Market Expansion & Strategic Partnerships
- Support new market and city launches, ensuring strong customer adoption through targeted marketing strategies.
- Identify and build strategic partnerships and collaborations that drive customer growth and brand visibility.
