Glovo is built on the belief that, by giving amazing service to our partners, we will be able to change the on-demand delivery market.
How are we doing this? By thinking big and paying attention to small details. Glovo’s core product is a hyperlocal marketplace featuring the best restaurants in each city and delivery in less than 60 minutes. We believe though that most restaurants and stores will opt for a strategy that combines marketplaces with their own channels, and we want Glovo to be the delivery partner of choice for all of our partners’ deliveries. To achieve this, Glovo launched Glovo On-Demand in 2022, a new vertical that helps our partners deliver orders created in their own channels (website, phone, application) via Glovo’s fleet. As an On-Demand Country Manager, you will be the lead in Georgia for growing the On-Demand business.
THE JOURNEY
The role is primarily commercial (sales and account management), but you will also have 360* responsibilities, helping to coordinate financial control and profitability, operational needs, necessary tech developments/ adaptations, etc.
Define the GTM (go to market) strategy for On-Demand business in Georgia (pricing, pitch, Ops SLAs, etc)
Work closely with the Account Management team to upsell On-Demand to current Glovo Partners (Restaurants, Groceries and Retailers). Build a pipeline and pitch, consultative sales with partners. Build proposals and lead contract negotiations to establish a strong working partnership grounded on sustainable economics for both parties
Explore new opportunities leveraging Glovo capabilities to grow OnDemand (eg. partners not in Glovo’s marketplace)
Manage a small commercial team (1 to 3 people)
Work closely with On-Demand HQ in Barcelona and share feedback to improve On-Demand product (Commercial, Operations and Product)
PnL management: pricing strategy, implementation costs, and continuous profitability through operation costs and recurrent sales
