Weâre looking for you to join our team as a Principal Program Cost Control Analyst â Program Control Integrated Systems (PCIS) Tools. The preferred location for this position is Linthicum, MD. This position may also be staffed in Rolling Meadows, IL, San Diego, CA or Woodland Hills, CA.  This is an onsite position that offers the 9/80 work schedule.Â
What Youâll Get to Do
The Senior PrincipalProgram Control Analyst - PCIS Tools (Sr PCA-PCIS Tools)willberesponsible foradministration, support and continuous improvement of oursectorProgram Control Toolset. Reporting to the Sector Manager - PCIS, you will serve asaprimary point of contact forprograms and users, drive process enhancements, test and implementupdates tokey tools (i.e.COBRA,Open Plan, PM Compass), andassist with development ofrelated processes, templates, and training assets.Â
The SrPCAÂ - PCIS Tools will interface with the program managers, functional management, controlaccount managers (CAMs) and business managers to providehelp desk support, bench support, and process improvements relatedto the PCIS tools and processes.Â
The roles and responsibilities of the Sr PCA - PCIS Tools include, but are not limited to, the following:
Provide Tier1 helpdesk support for PCIS tools, ensuring timely resolution of tickets.
Provideenduser support
Configuration,testingand rollout of new releases and enhancements for COBRA, PMCompass,Open Planand other EVM utilities
Participateonthe MS PCIS Configuration Change Board (CCB), with a focus on streamlining and optimizing compliant processes. Â
Collaborate withbusiness management, program managementandtechnicalteams to integrate tool outputs into costschedule reporting and dashboards.
Program bench/ support (i.e. tools, EVM)
Communicate latest recommended processes and tools
The ideal candidate will understand, develop, and implement solutions for technical, programmatic, andcompliance issues regarding program execution and EVM (cost, schedule and technical objectives). The candidate mustpossess strong analytical skills, the ability to work independently, present to leadership, and be comfortable seekingsolutions from software documentation and vendor interaction. Also, the candidate must be able to work well in a teamenvironment and give consistent applicable EVMdirectionto stakeholders such as program managers, control accountmanagers, business managers, program control analysts, and schedulers.
Basic QualificationsÂ
Bachelorâs degree with 8 years of related professional experience - OR - aMaster'sdegree with 6 years of related professional experience
Experience with SAP and financial systems
Experience with Cobra Cost & Earned Value System, along with performance measurement concepts and reporting.
Strong computer skills, with expertise in database concepts and advanced Excel functions
Ability to travel domestically 10% of the time.Â
US Citizenship
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret level security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Business Administration or related fieldÂ
Experience with Deltek Open Plan, PM Compass, Acumen, MS AccessÂ
Experience in a continuous improvement environment Â
Current, active U.S. Government Secret level security clearance.
