Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is expanding its worldâclass team of Principal & Senior Principal Software Quality Assurance Engineers in Roy, UT or Huntsville, AL and will support the Sentinel (GBSD) Ground Base Strategic Deterrent program.

Seeking experienced Principal & Senior Principal Software Quality Assurance Engineers skilled in the following areas:
- Developing and implementing Software Quality Assurance plans.
- Developing and using metrics for process health and performance monitoring
- Acting as a liaison between local personnel, suppliers, and customers
- Evaluation, tracing, and analysis of requirementsâ
- Experience in software build testing, qualification, and Integration and Test
Desired Software Tools include:
- JIRA
- Confluence
- Jazz
- DOORS
- SAP
- Ability to read and understand Software Code (C++, Java, Python)
Requirements & Clearance:
- U.S. Citizenship
- Minimum of a Bachelorâs of Science Degree with 5 yrs. experience ; 3 Years with Masters; 1 Year with PhD.
- Active secret clearance and the ability to obtain a Special Access Clearance

Primary Level Salary Range: $89,400.00 - $167,500.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
