Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for an Electrical Design Engineer / Principal Electrical Design Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.Β This role is located in Melbourne, FL.
**This role may be filled at the Base OR Principal level based on the qualifications listed, below**
The selected candidate will provide Lab design, integration and systems engineering support for system and software engineering labs.

Basic Qualifications (Base):
Must have a Bachelor of Science degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) discipline AND 2 years of related professional/military experience OR a Master of Science degree in a STEM discipline AND 0 years of related professional/military experience, OR a STEM Ph.D. AND 0 years of related professional/military experience
Your ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated U.S. government Secret clearance (must be in-scope or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation) and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the Company.
Must have experience with electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and/or systems for commercial, industrial, and/or domestic purposes
Must have experience in electrical wiring design and troubleshooting system installations

Preferred Qualifications:
AutoCAD Electrical Design Experience

Manufacturing/liaison support experience is also desired to support build and installation of assemblies as well as testing of aircraft systems.
Experience in developing and managing test requirements
Experience in subsystem, payload, or system integration
Knowledge of aircraft-type cable assemblies, MIL type wiring and components such as mil connectors, back shells, relays, switches, indicator lights, terminal junction system components, etc. using system level functional architecture and input from System Lead or Cognizant Engineer.

Primary Level Salary Range: $79,300.00 - $118,900.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $98,400.00 - $147,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
