Energy Consultant - Lima

AFRY Management Consulting is looking to hire a Consultant to support the growth of its consulting activities in Peru and Latin America

AFRY Management Consulting has already successfully entered this geography under the lead of AFRY Management Consulting’s office in Madrid, Spain. In particular through the sound modelling of its electricity markets, and has been advising a number of investors in renewable energy or in energy networks to help them develop their businesses; the next step of this development is now to reinforce our local presence to gather local insights in the market, enhance our visibility in the region and accelerate our growth, in line with global AFRY group’s objective

This position is aimed at an experienced professional who combines a strong background in the energy sector with advanced expertise in market regulation and modelling capabilities for market and financial modelling purposes.

As part of the consulting team you will:

• Lead projects for major clients across Latin America, providing strategic advice on energy markets, tariffs and regulation.
• Operate AFRY market model BID3 , delivering accurate and meaningful price forecasts from a technical and rationale perspective.
• Develop and review financial and market models, delivering independent and data-driven insights to investors, utilities, and regulatory bodies.
• Drive client interaction, building long-term trusted relationships with decision makers and stakeholders.
• Prepare project proposals ensuring compliance with the RFP terms.
• Represent AFRY in industry discussions and forums, reinforcing our position as the most recommended advisor for the energy transition.
