Context:
Our T&D team assists clients in achieving compliance and efficiency by conducting studies to navigate the design, grid connection and access standards for their energy generation projects. You will become part of a global, tight-knit team of engineers engaged in diverse projects supporting multiple type of international interconnection and grid connection projects (solar, wind, hydro, etc.). Our team also provides technical assistance to Transmission Grid Operators and helps the private sector secure crucial grid investments through expert technical support. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop your career and play a pivotal role in expanding and shaping the business in Asia-Pacific for a multinational company while supporting clients across Asia, but also Europe, and Africa.
Regular working days: Mon-Fri., 8 hours/day, 5 days/week
Responsibility:
- Conduct studies for HVDC projects: feasibility, design stages, tender design, detailed design; and deriving the Main circuit parameters and Equipment requirement specification, for both LCC and VSC based HVDC Projects primarily in Asia but also in Europe, Middle East, Australia and Africa.
- Support the Business Development activities by supporting proposals preparation, Clients’ meetings and providing related technical advisory.
- Prepare comprehensive study reports, ranging from HVDC feasibility studies for energy developers to FEED and detailed studies.
- Deliver high-quality outputs within agreed parameters, formats, and timelines, and review the work of other employees when necessary.
- Conduct complex assessments, provide specialist advice/solutions and training, conduct technical presentations to internal and external clients.
- Engage in technical developmental activities, including attending conferences and participating in industry presentations.
